On Scene: 19:11  hrs

Units from the Grand Junction Fire Department were dispatched to a commercial structure fire at 302 Pitkin Avenue around 19:07 hrs. on 02/13/2016. First arriving units reported A working fire at the Grand Junction Outreach Day.  GJFD units quickly deployed a hand lines to extinguish the fire.  GJFD and GJPD units worked together to mitigate the emergency scene.  Fire was extinguished and no one was injured.  Building managers responded to the scene.

GJFD units were able to quickly deploy a hand line to the exterior of the building to put the fire out before it got interior.

GJFD fire investigators are on scene.  The Fire is still under investigation.

No one was injured during this incident and GJFD units will remain on scene.
