Attic Fire in Single-Story Home


At 05:30 this morning the Grand Junction Fire Department was dispatched to an attic fire in a single story residence. The fire was called in by the residents who then evacuated the house. The fire was extinguished with significant damage to the attic.  No one was injured: total cost of damages is unknown.  Grand Junction Fire Department responded with four fire engines, a ladder truck, and an ambulance.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
