At 1036 the Grand Junction Fire responded to a residential structure Fire on the 500 block of West Colorado Avenue. The fire was contained to the attic of the home.
Four adults were displaced by the fire. There were no injuries. Four dogs were removed during the fire and were unharmed. The American Red Cross responded to assist the residents displaced by the fire. The cost of damages is unknown and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Grand Junction Fire Department responded with Engine 2, 4, 5, 6, Truck 3, Medic 1, and Battalion 1. All manned GJFD fire suppression vehicles and personnel were used on this call.
