The GJFD responded with Engine 1, 2, 4, Truck 3, Medic 1, Ambulance 6, and Batallion 1. Members of the Grand Junction Incident Dispatch Team responded to assist with on scene communications.
The Grand Junction Fire Department would like to remind the community that dangerous fire conditions exist, and can cause fire to spread rapidly. In these conditions avoid working with machinery outdoors, discarding cigarette butts outside of designated containers, or driving with unsecured chains. During Red Flag Warnings all burning is prohibited. For more information on this incident contact the Community Outreach office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
