GJFD Responds to Fire in Trailer Home

At 2021 this evening the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a fire in a trailer home on the 2900 block of Cedar Place. When crews arrived on scene, heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from beneath the trailer. Two adults and a dog were displaced due to damage from the fire. There were no injuries. Origin and cause of the fire are under investigation.

Three engines and a truck responded along with an ambulance, a medical officer, and a Battalion Chief. The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist with scene control.
